Our Mission

To inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us the most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Coryell and Lampasas Counties

In 1993 a group of interested community leaders started the groundwork for the Boys & Girls Club in Copperas cove. Due to the vision and dedication of these early pioneers, the Boys & Girls club had its inception. The Mickan Family graciously donated twelve Acres of land to the club. The property will be utilized to build a facility that will provide organized activities for our youth.

With the assistance of the Housing Authority , Board Members, Kiwanis Club, Volunteers, and hard work and support of caring individuals, the Boys & Girls Club of Copperas Cove was able to officially open its doors to the community on June 5,2000.

Our Clubs have a youth-only membership and satisfies the age-old desire of boys and girls to have a "Club" of their own. Each location has a full-time leadership staff that is supplemented by part-time workers and volunteers. The Clubs programs help to install good character traits in boys and girls. Membership dues are kept low, so that all can afford to belong, No one will be deterred from joining. All races, religions, and ethnic cultures are welcome at all times.

With our new partners, the Fort Hood Youth Center,  AmeriCorps, and the local businesses, we can guarantee the longevity and success of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Coryell and Lampasas Counties. We will continue to serve our youth with pride whole providing a safe and positive environment.
